“Kate Tucker is on the prowl again in LOST AND FOUND! Will her talent for finding things help her or hurt her this time? She didn’t bargain for what’s headed her way, but she’ll certainly be ready for it. H. Susan Shaw has created a character with panache–you can’t help but enjoy her. You might even wish you could be her.”

With the third book ready for publication, Ms. Shaw has fulfilled a lifelong dream. She wanted to write before she knew what to call it, so she asked her mom how to “make a book.” Next thought for the 4 year old was; “Learn how to write.”
From newspaper articles through technical writing to the first novel; it’s been a busy and interesting journey. Ms. Shaw takes a great deal of satisfaction in a well-tuned story that races through one adventure to the next misadventure.
H. Susan Shaw takes her heroine from Maine to Pennsylvania, places she’s lived, roads she’s driven and folks—names changed—she’s loved and enjoyed, Soon the novels will nestle into the wonderful area in Virginia where she now lives.
Ms. Shaw is a member of Grace UMC in Wilsons VA. She enjoys leading the adult Bible study class and mission trips to Ridgeville SC to visit with friends and to help the Edisto Indian tribe. She frequently gleans vegetables which will help feed the hungry. Ms. Shaw also works with Grace’s L.O.V.E. Mission rehabbing and repairing local homes for those unable to do it themselves.
Often, she says about herself; “I’ve never been bored!” If, in a story, she drives too fast on a road, she’s driven that road, in the car Kate is driving, even faster. If Kate picks up a tool to accomplish something; it’s a tool right out of Ms. Shaw’s own tool shed. She was, before she began writing novels, an accomplished tailor.
H. Susan Shaw has dreamed all of her life about writing…while she dreamed she learned many skills and crafts which show up in her novels.
